Description
Looking for a way to share your special skills for the benefit of the women, children and families we serve?  Have Admin or Office Skills?   We have opportunities waiting for YOU!  

Accounting Assistant:    Immediate opportunity - 20 hours a week thru September 4th.  Perform a variety of administrative and office support tasks - ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail and with experience or interest in working in an office setting.  

Housing Admin Assistant:  Immediate opportunity - flexible schedule -set your hours between 8-5 pm on Tuesdays.-Thursdays. Get memos out to residents, file resident and regulatory documents & administer and collect surveys from residents.

Do you have a special “In-kind” service, product, gift or item(s) that align with our mission of empowering women and eliminating racism or can help in some way to support or enhance one or more of our 3 Empowerment programs – Affordable Housing, Child & Youth Development, & Domestic Violence Services? Have a heart for embracing our social justice efforts which are at the forefront of each of these programs?

Videography/Photography: In light of COVID-19, assistance is needed in creating virtual tours of our housing and homeless shelter.  Assistance is also needed with some of our Communication/PR needs.

Family Meals: Sponsor a meal or meals for families experiencing food insecurity.

Safety Kits & Cleaning Supplies: 
Provide personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies for families and home-bound elderly individuals.

Empower-Encourage "Send a Card":  Provide words of encouragement to families and the elderly

Transportation:  Provide gas cards for families unemployed, furloughed, and moms in shelter

  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
