BACK-TO-SCHOOL BACKPACK DRIVE – July 17th – July 28th, 2023

United Way Hands On needs your help! Each year, Hands On receives backpacks filled with supplies to donate to local agencies that support children in need. These backpacks provide some school necessities and additional items needed to prepare them for a productive school year. Please donate mesh or clear backpacks filled with supplies for children in support of these agencies: Pathways and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama. We estimate that we will need 1,000 backpacks filled with school and hygiene supplies. Please see the supply list for the type of items that can be included in the backpacks. Backpack Supply List

· Crayons

· Pencils

· Notebooks and Composition Notebooks

· Travel size Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body wash

· Child size toothbrush and toothpaste

· Hand Soap

· Hand Sanitizer

· Tissues/Kleenex

· Backpacks (must be clear or mesh)

· Paper towel Roll

· Washcloth
