Help Bring Holiday Cheer to Boarding Home Residents in Jefferson County!

The holidays should be a time of warmth, joy, and togetherness—but for many residents in Jefferson County boarding homes, this season can feel lonely. That’s where you come in.

The United Way Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is calling on our caring community to help us sweeten the season for over 40 local boarding homes through our Home "Sweet" Home for the Holidays initiative.

How You Can Help:
Donate store-bought cakes, cookies, or pies to bring a little joy to those who won’t be with loved ones this year.

Drop-Off Location:
Alice Williams Building, Room 102
Dates: Friday, December 19 – Monday, December 22
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Busy schedule? No problem!
You can also send treats via grocery delivery services like Instacart, Shipt, or Walmart. Just make sure to complete the donation form found under the Documents tab of this opportunity.
