Help children all over Central Alabama have a happy holiday season! Volunteers needed to pick up toys from Publix locations and deliver directly to United Way agencies in Central Alabama. Load up your vehicle, turn on your holiday playlist and spread cheer throughout your home!
This volunteer option is open to families, friends and helpers. Only 1 participant is needed for registration; contact administrator if any additional participant needs to log volunteer hours. Select a route that works best for you! Routes vary in length, days of the week, and timeframes. Additional route details and essential contact information will be emailed to you upon registration.

Requirement Details
This option covers driving routes across Jefferson, Shelby, Chilton, Walker, and St. Clair Counties.
Volunteers will pick up toys at up to 4 Publix locations and deliver to participating nonprofit agency locations. Communication with United Way Hands On Staff, Agency Contacts, and Publix Store Associates may be necessary.
Your own vehicle is required. Van, Truck, or SUV is recommended.
Perks
This is a flexible option. While the route is set up as a shift, we recommend you start anytime during the shift and deliver to the agency before they close.
