Volunteer for King Day at Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

Each year, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (BCRI) offers free admission to its galleries & family-friendly programming in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK Day (taking place January 19th, 2026).  Volunteers are needed to make this possible, in areas including Logistics, Gallery Support, and Hospitality & Wayfinding.

NOTE: Volunteer registration for this event is external.  Register here: Volunteer – BCRI; at the top of the webpage, you will find the categories for Logistics, Gallery Support, and Hospitality & Wayfinding to register as a volunteer for this event.  Do not fill out the volunteer application, unless prompted once you select a volunteer category for this specific event.
