About

Stamp Out Hunger is the country’s largest one-day food drive, helping provide essential non-perishable food items to individuals and families in need across central Alabama. Residents donate food by leaving items by their mailboxes, and letter carriers collect donations along their routes to support the Community Food Bank.

Volunteer Role:

We are seeking volunteers to assist with unloading and organizing food donations at the USPS Carrier Facility.

Volunteers will:

  • Unload donations from letter carrier vehicles
  • Transfer food items to designated trailers
  • Help stage, and store donations
