2019 Summer Undergraduate Research Expo Judging

Positives:
1. Free t-shirts and coffee.
2. The science quality was good this year, and I liked judging 5 posters. I didn't feel rushed and got to spend quality time with my assignments, and had extra time to visit posters of personal interest.
3. The judging sheet was very nicely improved/re-designed this year.

Improvements:
1. The judge check in table could be on the same floor as the posters. It was super inconvenient walking back downstairs to get a clipboard, then upstairs, then back downstairs to turn in the assessments.

2. The Expo could be better advertised, or information could be disseminated to the different biological science departments represented by the students. My coworkers in the Division of Nephrology did not receive any notification that this was happening today, despite several of our KURE students presenting posters.

3. It'd be nice to have non-dairy powder creamer next time. :)
