About
The UAB Benevolent Fund, established and governed by a Council of employees, is the charitable giving arm of UAB employees and recognizes the importance of strengthening our community. We do this through partnerships with more than 130 local non-profit agencies and programming for our UAB family. The Benevolent Fund aims to increase food security in the UAB community by providing healthy food, resources, and referrals to UAB employees, students, patients and their families through Blazer Kitchen. Through employee donations, a Habitat for Humanity House is completely sponsored and built by UAB employees, students and alumni. Your tax-deductible gift, combined with other gifts, transforms our community in incredible ways.
