About

Activity: Recycled oyster shell is used to make shell bags which ultimately are used to build oyster reefs.

What it involves: Shoveling oyster shells into plastic tubes to make the mesh bags.  The mesh bags are then stacked onto pallets.

Strenuous level: Shoveling shells into bags and carrying bags can be fairly physical but this can be rotated with other volunteers who are cutting the bags.

Requirements
